Water leakage can have major and annoying consequences. She could be on vacation and come home to find your entire house flooded. A nightmare.
Easy to prevent by placing a water leak sensor at places where leakage can occur, for example near a washing machine or dishwasher.
The Hihome smart WiFi leakage sensor can simply be placed on the floor near the washing machine or in the kitchen cupboard under your sink. The two (copper) metal sensors detect water and give an audible alarm via the built-in speaker, but also provide a Water Leakage Alarm on your mobile. This way you can take action in time and prevent worse damage.
The sensor also works 2xAAA battery (included) and connects via WiFi. So no Gateway or Hub needed.
